Salomon gear for 2009 / 2010 Season

Sunshine Village is continuing its association with Salomon for the 2009 / 2010 season, if you haven't tried some of the latest gear, now is your chance. With recent technical developments in skis all levels of skiers can enjoy a vast improvement compared to even 5 year old equipment. There will also be an exciting range of the latest snowboards for all styles of riders.

Base area rental shop

Take the stairs by the ticket windows to the second level where you will find our main rental shop. This location stocks the widest variety of skiing and riding equipment as well as some extra items you may have forgotten such as jackets, pants and helmets. Our friendly experts will help you get the right fit and adjustments to your rental gear to ensure you get the most out of your day.

The Salomon Rental & Test centre

Located in the upper Village area beside the Angel Express Quad Chair. This rental centre features the latest performance technology by Salomon Ski and Snowboards. If you're looking the very best in rental equipment, this is the place to go.

Skier Services

Located in the base area above the Creekside Bar & Grill. Services available include seasonal, weekly & daily lockers, groups ‘meet & greet’ area, picnic eating area and washrooms.

Ski & Board Lockers

Lockers available above the Creekside Restaurant, $1 - 2 a day. Rent a tall locker (holds four pairs of skis) for the season, $329 plus GST. Contact the Repair Shop or rentals@skibanff.com. Overnight Ski Storage: Complimentary for Sunshine Village equipment rentals, or $3 a night for your own gear (boots/bags etc, cannot be stored overnight).

Equipment Tune Up

Full range of equipment tuning/repairs is available at the base Repair Shop or up at the Village in the Salomon Tent.
