Upon your arrival at the Gondola Base area check-in, you will find our preferred hotel guest parking close at hand. Valet parking is available for an additional charge; please see the attendant at check-in for details.
Once you have checked in we will take your luggage for transport up to the Lodge. Your luggage will be placed in your room by 4:00pm. For those wanting to get on the slopes straight away, we have dressing rooms available at the base, where you can change into your ski attire. Please note that you will be required to purchase a lift ticket for your first day on the slopes. Hotel room rates include the next day skiing or riding. Please also note that Lodge rooms are not guaranteed until 4:00 pm.
As your luggage will require special handling to get up to the Lodge, we recommend that you carry all essential and/or breakable items with you. Day storage for these items is available at the Concierge Desk, located on the Lobby level of the Lodge. As space is limited, we only accept 1 medium size bag per room in day storage.
Please note that for your planning purposes, the Sunshine Mountain Lodge is ONLY accessible by Gondola during the following hours:
Saturday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm
It is important to remember to dress warmly for your 15 minute gondola ride up to the village, as temperatures in the Rockies can drop 6.5 degrees Celsius per 1000 meters of elevation gain.

Our Ski & Snowboard School, Ski & Board Rentals, Daycare facilities and over half of Sunshine's lifts are within walking distance of the Lodge's front door. For the extreme skier and rider, Delirium Dive offers an amazing back - country experience - within Sunshine's boundaries. Sunshine Village is a family owned resort that offers a unique skiing and riding experience with it's heritage and natural setting in Canada's oldest National Park.
** Our Cancellation policy is 14 days prior to arrival and at time of cancellation is subject to a $15.00CAD Credit Card transaction fee. Should you choose to cancel your reservation prior to 14 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund, less the $15.00CAD.
**Please note that we do not permit our guests to bring alcohol with them to our hotel. We require that you check any alcohol with the Front Desk Agent at the base upon your arrival, it will be returned upon departure
**The Sunshine Mountain Lodge is proud to now offer our guests a calm and quiet atmosphere within the hotel room floors and rooms. We ask that all our guests cooperate by keeping the volume level in your room at a minimum. Voices and foot traffic in the hallways, especially in the early hours, can be heard for some distance. Please respect your fellow guests and keep the noise level to a minimum.
